Ms Alison Pettican

Alison graduated from Queen Margaret College Edinburgh in 1995 with a BSc in Podiatric Medicine with distinction.

After gaining a wealth of experience within the NHS in Scotland and England, Alison set up a private podiatry clinic within a Suffolk Osteopathic Practice and work here included routine treatment and a biomechanical caseload.

A move overseas in 2006 with her husband’s career resulted in Alison working in high risk Diabetic foot clinics within Singapore government hospitals.  Latterly she moved into a sales role, which centred on wound management education and was invited to present at local and national tissue viability conferences.  She published an article in the Singapore Nursing Journal, which highlighted the importance of effective wound debridement in chronic wound management.

Alison returned to the UK in 2013 and has now settled into a new life here in Kent.
